Bag for small animal oxygen therapy.
(WET/TT) Oxygen Bag
Usage:
The oxygen bag is designed for administering oxygen or drugs and may also be used to keep animals warm in cases of hypothermia or for newborns. With two transparent plastic walls on the front and back, the oxygen bag allows for constant monitoring of the animal. The bottom is made up of two layers which contain thermal foam in between to preserve heat and to protect the animal from cool surfaces. It is hand washable and may be disinfected. Made from 100% polyester.
Application:
Place the animal inside the oxygen bag and close the flap by zipping the zipper. The oxygen bag contains two inlets; one for administering oxygen or drugs, and the second to allow airflow circulation. The inlet is designed to match with the connectors of veterinary equipment. The bottom side of the oxygen bag contains a zipper which may be unzipped to insert EKG or other medical cables. The Velcro flap on the side wall may be opened in order to allow ventilation without having to remove the animal from the oxygen bag. The amount of ventilation may be regulated by positioning the Velcro flap to the desired level. There is an opening between the bottom layers to allow the insertion of a heating mat or a hot water bag.
